Nokshi Kotha” Part II (নকঁশি কথা) In July 2024, I’ll be presenting a research-based paper at the “Crossways of Knowledge” (icas.asia/icas13) in Surabaya-Indonesia, that’ll strongly demonstrate a narrative to readjust traditional theatre collaboration across borders. With a post-pandemic lens, my presentation will focus on securing creative collaboration within the Indo-Pacific region and reimagine how creatives can readjust their engagement. This Con-Fest involves artists, scholars and civil society is a highly regarded platform to demonstrate a seminal working model for agencies and artists that also involves business and diaspora. Presentation will be part of a work-in-progress international collaboration initiated by me in 2023 (titled “Nokshi Kotha”) that’ll amplify employment for artists and diversify content for Australian art sector/stage.

Nokshi Kotha” Part I (নকঁশি কথা) translates to “woven words”. This is the working title of my international collaboration with Bottala – a performance space in Bangladesh. This project started as a reflection of the 50 years of Bangaladesh’s independence as part of my residency offered by Bottala in February 2022. The project slowly emerged as a migrant storytelling connecting the two countries. It is an ongoing cross-country work in progress and an effort to create interview-based theatre.

Love-Hope-Life: In association with NSW Health, Love-Hope-Life is a 20-minute presentation that can be plugged in anywhere turning the unusual area into a theatre space. This is a non-space specific theatre on Domestic & Family Violence.

Wigram Street Project is a collaboration with Operated Coin and artists Nick Atkins and Robert Polmear. Wigram St shares stories from people that call Harris Park home. Mixing location-based audio and AR, this new shared experience offers up a 20-minute immersive dive into the world of Harris Park.
